This Shipping Policy applies to online purchases online through our website www.play-well.com. Separate policies apply to purchases made via Play-Well's retail store (via telephone, e-mail, or in person), via an authorized Play-Well dealer, or through other sales channels including other websites.
Most items can be shipped via United Parcel Service or U.S. Postal Service. Most orders are sent out within 48 hours, however certain items may require more time. You will be notified via e-mail if additional time is required. Orders may take up to 7 to 10 business days to be delivered. (Depending on the region of the U.S.) Play-Well does not ship to Mississippi. For Hawaii or Alaska orders, please contact customer service.
Shipping and handling charges will be automatically calculated based on the number of items and their weight in your order. For expedited shipping methods, please please contact customer service for a quote.
Certain items are too large or heavy for UPS shipping. These products, as well as all other items, are available for delivery via common carrier delivery or by Play-Well truck, if available. Sandboxes, sand, and rubber mulch are examples of items that can not be shipped via UPS. This service is a curbside drop-off service only. Transit times vary.
Certain items appearing on our website are offered only in certain geographic regions. If you are outside of the geographic region where a product is offered, additional shipping charges will apply. You will be contacted regarding the additional shipping cost.
With common carrier shipments, the customer is responsible for noting any damage or shortages at the time of delivery when signing the delivery receipt. Failure on the part of the customer to note damage on the delivery receipt makes it impossible to file a damage claim with the carrier and any damage therefore becomes the customer's responsibility. Damage claims for common carrier, UPS, and USPS shipments must be made within 10 days of delivery.
We use reputable freight carriers, however, some drivers have been known to try to pressure customers into signing delivery paperwork before inspecting for damage. If there is any doubt regarding the condition of the shipment be sure insist on noting it in details before signing anything and before the driver leaves.
The customer is responsible for disposal of shipping packaging including pallets.
